Shirley Jean Wilder

Shirley Jean Wilder, 71, of Port Charlotte passed away October 28, 2006. She was born July 28, 1935 in Spokane, Washington to John and Susan (Dixon) Mitchell. Shirley moved from Vermont to Port Charlotte in 1969 and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 50 years, Richard E. Wilder; daughter Debbie Wilder of Stuarts Draft, VA; son Douglas Wilder of Punta Gorda; brother Frank Mitchell of Spokane, Washington; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her daughters Katherine and Julie. No services are planned at this time. Memorial donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, P.O.
