Sharon T. McElwee, 68, of Punta Gorda passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012. She was born October 22, 1943 in Edgerton, WI to Harold and June (Westcott) Tubbs. Sharon worked for Publix Supermarkets for 39 years. She was a member of the United Way. Sharon will be greatly missed by her husband of 49 years, Francis (Mac); daughter, Tracey Williams; sons, Bryan McElwee and Jeffrey McElwee; brother, Terry (Sue) Tubbs and Gregg (Teri) Tubbs; grandchildren, Travis Millican, Tori Millican and Jessica McElwee and 3 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Sharon's life will be on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Harbour Heights Civic Association. In lieu flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice.
