IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Walter
Reiss
April 16, 1941 – December 6, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Walter Reiss, who peacefully left us on December 6, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 16, 1941, in the Bronx, NY, Bob lived a vibrant life, filled with rich experiences and cherished moments.
Bob dedicated 25 years to the New York Telephone Company as a lineman, shaping connections that brought communities together. He proudly served in the Army and was a valued member of both the American Legion and the Elks Club. His passion for life extended beyond work; he loved hunting, fishing, and traveling, always eager to explore new landscapes and create lasting memories with family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted spouse, Enrica Reiss, who has been his partner in life and adventure. Bob leaves behind his beloved children, son Robert Reiss and wife Trish and daughter Diane Reiss Stathum. He further blessed the world with grandchildren Kyle, Brendan, Elizabeth and her fiancé Mike Richardson, Cavi and Jason Barry, Quin, Annie, and Nicole Bancalari, Brianna and Todd Stathum, along with seven great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his dear sister, Eleanor Reiss Uhl, and was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Reiss.
Bob's warmth, laughter, and stories will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor the incredible impact he had on all of our lives. In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to share a story about Bob or a fond memory, as he would have loved nothing more than to continue connecting with those he cared about in spirit.
Bob, rest in peace. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
