Robert Ray Armstrong

Robert "Bob" Armstrong, 64, of North Port, FL passed away November 21, 2008. He was born May 12, 1944 in Providence, RI to Roy and Phyllis Armstrong. Bob served in the US Army and was a former manager of Abbey Carpets. He moved from Warren, Rhode Island to North Port in 1988. Bob enjoyed playing darts and golf. He will be greatly missed by his fianc, Charlotte O'Kelley; daughters, Brenda Blair of West Warwick, RI and Debra Waddington of Coventry, RI; sisters, Carolyn Mello of Bristol, RI, Elizabeth Tavaris of Truckee, CA, Joyce Kent of Bristol, RI, Judith DiSalvo of Berrington, RI and Susan DuBois of Warren, RI and 2 grandchildren. A memorial mass will be at 11:00am, Saturday, November 29, 2008 at San Pedro Catholic Church with Father Patrick Organ officiating.
