Robert John Kinsella, known as Bob, age 83, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away in Port Charlotte, Florida. Born on June 4, 1942, in Dublin, Ireland, Bob was the beloved son of Kathleen and John Kinsella.

Bob grew up in Dublin before coming to America in 1960 at the age of 18. He began his journey in New York, where he later met the love of his life, Catherine Barbuscia, with whom he shared 62 beautiful years of marriage.

A talented baker by trade, Bob worked for many years in the baking industry before he and his family moved to California in 1977. In 1985, Bob and Catherine launched Bakers and Associates, a food brokerage company widely respected throughout the industry. They successfully operated their business until retiring in 2001, when they settled in Florida to enjoy a life of warmth and relaxation.

Bob proudly embraced retirement and filled it with the things he loved most-boating, RV traveling, gardening, and time spent with family. His charm, humor, and Irish spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Catherine Barbuscia Kinsella; his children, Doris Ann Lucas, Robert John Kinsella Jr., and Scott Christopher Kinsella; along with seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 5th at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 211 West Charlotte Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
