Robert "Bob" L. Votta, Sr.

Robert "Bob" Votta, Sr., 71, of Arcadia, FL passed away Wed., April 16, 2014. He was the son of Louis and Phyllis Votta, born on February 2, 1943 in Everett, MA. Bob was an US Army Veteran and moved to Port Charlotte in 1974. He was the owner/operator of Robert Votta Construction. Bob was an avid gun collector, a corvette enthusiast, and an active supporter with St. Jude's. He will be remembered for having a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. Bob will be greatly missed by his son, Robert (Pattie) Votta; daughters, Brenda (Doug) Nease and Kim Votta; sisters, Carol Scourtas and Donna Keene; grandchildren, Nicole, Justin, Danielle, Michael and Amanda; great-grandson, Parker, and companion Roseanne Collins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane. A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 10am, Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Fr.
