A longtime resident of Buffalo Grove, Illinois Ray and his wife Lisa moved to Port Charlotte in 2019. He was a longtime fan of the Chicago Cubs and shared his love of the Chicago Black Hawks with his father Frank. He loved Disney and spent countless hours in the parks enjoying the rides and watching the people and getting a little Dopey and Grumpy. To all the little kids in his life, he was affectionately known as Uncle Ray Ray. He liked nothing better than spending his free time and sharing a meal with his Thanksgiving Family.
In his younger years, he played intercollegiate football and was a member Sigma Chi where he acquired his love of Old Style.

He was taken way too young and everyone he touched will miss that hug handshake and smile that just seemed to envelop you and just make your day better.
A Celebration of Life will be announced for a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make a Wish or Saint Jude’s Hospital in honor of Tyler Tucker Douglas.
