Patricia Ann Jackson

Patricia (Trish) was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Joseph Minor, and her brother, Joseph (Sandy) Minor.

Above all, Pat treasured her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her dedicated husband of 63 years, Bob “Bo” Jackson; her daughters, Tami (Jim) Urish, Kelli (Todd) Barbour, and Heather (Sean) Hill; her grandchildren, Marlena, Isabel, Brandon, Collin, Elizabeth, and Nicholas; her great-grandchildren, Diana and Maddie; her sister, Linda Havlin, and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia “Pat” or “Trish” Jackson was a strong, creative, independent, and compassionate woman whose life was defined by family, entrepreneurship, adventure, and service to others. A longtime resident of Punta Gorda, Florida, and St. Jacob, Illinois, Pat lived life with determination and a generous spirit, always finding new ways to create, contribute, and make a difference.

Pat began her career as a talented hairstylist, where her creativity and ability to connect with people quickly became evident. With her entrepreneurial spirit and fearless determination, she later ventured into the road construction industry and founded her own successful business, Mi-Jac & Co. She was proud of building something of her own and approached both her work and life with strength, confidence, and perseverance.

Retirement opened a new chapter for Pat, one filled with creativity, adventure, and service. She discovered great joy in painting, traveling, and experiencing new places and people. She also devoted countless hours to volunteering, including service with the American Red Cross, the local police department, and various governmental organizations across the country. Her willingness to help others reflected the caring heart that was such an important part of who she was.

Pat leaves behind a legacy of strength, creativity, independence, adventure, and service. She was a woman who was never afraid to try something new, follow her own path, or lend a helping hand. Her family and all those whose lives she touched will carry her memory forward and cherish the many stories, experiences, and moments they shared with her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
