Pamela Elms-Scott, passed away July 13, 2025, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL.
She is pre-deceased by her husband, John (Scotty) J. Scott, father, Major Harry David Elms, mother, Elaine Elms, and brother, Harry David Elms, Jr.
Pamela was very proud of Major Elms, who was responsible for the design of The Marine Corps Seal, which was approved by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. He started The Marine Shop in Quantico, Virginia, and Pamela enjoyed working there, as it was a family-run business.
After falling in love with Scotty, she also fell in love with Punta Gorda. She so enjoyed nature and all things that come with it.
Pamela is survived by her brother, Stephen Elms, stepson, Jay Greene (Mary), stepdaughter, Tracey Carter, and brother-in-law, Mark Scott (Deby). Many nieces and nephews, as well as step-grandchildren.
She loved Punta Gorda, so in lieu of flowers, a donation to a local charity would thrill her!
