Norma J. Swanson

Norma J. Swanson, 81, of Punta Gorda passed away November 10, 2010. She was the daughter of Norman J and Ruth I. (Spencer) Brest, born July 24, 1929 in Sharon, PA. She was a supervisor of banking from 1969-1983 before retiring. She moved from Venice to Punta Gorda in 2004. Norma was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years, and the Women of the Moose in Punta Gorda; she was of the Methodist faith. Norma will be greatly missed by her daughter, Sharon L. Boldt; granddaughter, Sherry Dietch; grandson, Frank Myers, Jr.; and great-granddaughters, Vickie Thomas and Frankie Setty. The family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 am Sunday November 14, 2010 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. The service in celebration of Norma’s life will be held at 11:00 am Monday, November 15 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
