Martha Lue Turner, age 99, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on May 13, 2025. Born on January 15, 1926, in Fremont, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Emerson Earhart and Mabel Cherry.
She married Ralph C.C. Turner on July 16, 1946, and together, they created a beautiful family. Martha spent her life in various places, from Columbus, Ohio, to St. Louis, Rockford, Illinois, Haines City, Florida, and finally Punta Gorda, Florida, where she enjoyed her golden years. A devoted mother, she nurtured six children, leaving behind cherished memories for her surviving daughter, Sandra Foland, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Martha's life was a testament to family, love, and dedication, and she will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
A family member of Deep Creek Community Church, Martha was baptized at the age of 97. Martha is now on her way to her new life with Jesus.
