Louis married Susan (McGarry)Dieke in April 2014, on the 18th hole of St.Andrews South Golf Club, and they enjoyed many happy years golfing at SAS, traveling the world on many cruises, and especially enjoying a wonderful life together.
Lou was an avid boater, fisherman with his best friend, Petar Blagoev, enjoyed poker and golf at SAS, and, most of all, hunting in Africa, Argentina, out West, and on the family farm in Fairgrove, Missouri, in their tree stands and shooting shacks with his brother-in-law, John Sorensen.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan, his sisters Elizabeth (John) Sorensen, Carrie(Dennis) Tate, Janet Dieke, and sister in law, Jill (Thomas)Dieke, several nieces and nephews, grand and great-nieces and nephews in Missouri, Georgia, and Texas.
