Lois R. Knox

Lois R. Knox, 78, of Punta Gorda, FL died November 13, 2008. She was born October 8, 1930 in Proctor, MN to the late Arthur and Ruth (Pederson) White. Lois was a Registered Nurse and came to Punta Gorda in 1994 from Annapolis, MD. She was a member of Twin Isles Country Club and Highlands Falls Country Club and was well known as everyone's friend. Most important to her was her family and she adored taking care of her children and grandchildren. Lois will be greatly missed by her husband of 14 years Dave; Daughters, Susan Lundeen of Waco, TX, Barbara Helm of Drayton, ND, Kathryn Schulte of Mound, MN, Jennifer Davis of Annapolis, MD and Emily Thornell of Washington, DC; Son, Robert Eelkema of Alexandria, VA; Step-sons David Knox of Lancaster, PA, Steve Knox of Cincinnati, OH, Tim Knox of Greensboro, NC; Brother, Dale White of Proctor, MN and 19 Grandchildren. Services in celebration of Lois' life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
