Kermit C. Montgomery

Kermit C. Montgomery, 76, of Punta Gorda, formerly of Ducktown, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2014. He was the son of John and Norah (nee Griffin) Montgomery, born on Copperhill, TN. Kermit served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a retired ordained Minister. Kermit will be greatly missed by his children, Connie L. Montgomery, Dale E. Montgomery and Michelle Staton; brothers, Kenneth M. (Mary Jane) and Steve (Carla); sister, Diane Franklin; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Kent W. Montgomery and his sister, Chancey. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Zion Hill Cemetery, Turtletown, TN.
