Kathy Kruth

Kathy Kruth peacefully passed surrounded by family, on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Born on January 16, 1943, to John and Dorothy Silcott, Edina, MN. Married February 27th, 1965 to John Kruth, Minneapolis. Celebrated 57 beautiful years of marriage. Adventures included raising three boys, weekends at their lake cabin next to Kathy’s sister Ginny (Darrel), and ending up in a Florida dream home next to Kathy’s other sister Sue (Jim).

Kathy retired after 25 years with Kare-11, an affiliate of NBC. Kathy loved to volunteer and be around friends. Member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda, past President of the Ladies Guild, and member of the Punta Gorda Women’s Club.

Survived by loving husband John, sons Paul (Cate), Tom (Vicki), Dan (Laura), granddaughters: Ashley and Audrey, grandsons: Nick, Tanner, and Quade, sisters: Ginny Hamann (Darrel), Sue Kelley (Jim), many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. She loved all.

The interment ceremony will be held in MN at a later date.
