Jordyn Karma Corbin, age 12, of Punta Gorda, was born March 8, 2013, and passed away on February 21, 2026. She leaves behind family, friends, and a community who love her beyond measure.
Jordyn had a larger-than-life personality. She was incredibly smart, creative, witty, animated, adventurous, bold, generous, thoughtful, and full of humor. She loved crafts, adventures, themed celebrations, the beach, and sunsets — life was almost always a party to Jordyn. She got that honestly from her parents, whom she absolutely adored. All who knew her would agree she was gifted, and an old soul with a child’s spirit. She was truly extraordinary.
Jordyn was the beloved daughter of Larry Corbin and Shelby Goffe Corbin, and a cherished granddaughter of Harold (Tom) Goffe, Randi Goffe, Nancy Corbin, and the late Larry Corbin. She was a loving sister to Kainin Corbin and Steven Brooks. Jordyn had many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and family that extended beyond bloodlines. Words cannot describe how deeply she will be missed.
A candle light vigil will be held in Jordyn’s honor on March 12th (forever 12) at approximately 7:00 p.m. on the southbound 41 bridge in Punta Gorda. The family asks the community to join them in watching the sunset over the harbor, followed by a “candle lighting” (flashlights) from the bridge shortly after sunset.
A service to celebrate Jordyn’s beautiful life will be held on March 22 at The First Baptist Church of Fort Ogden at 2:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life at The Local Berry Barn and Venue located at 7288 SW Lime Dr, Arcadia, FL, 34269 at 5:00 PM. Though we grieve her loss, we are forever grateful for the nearly 13 incredible years we were blessed to have her. In special moments, in laughter, and the glory of a beautiful sunset, Jordyn’s light will be remembered by all who love her.
