John W. Palmer Sr. of Punta Gorda was born November 2, 1937, in East Greenwich, RI. He passed away on June 11, 2026.
He is survived by his wife Alleine (Morton) Palmer. They were married for 69 years.
They had 4 children, John Jr. (Cindy), Debra (Strike), Jeffery (Trisha), and James (deceased).
He will be missed by his family including his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Peace River Baptist Church, 478 Berry Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950, at 11:00 am on July 11, 2026.
