John "Jack" L. Henry

John “Jack” Leroy Henry

Jack Henry of San Diego, CA, and Punta Gorda, FL passed away at the age of 78 after a long battle with skin cancer. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and was an accomplished Electrical Engineer and avid radio amateur, call sign N6XQ. Jack also served during the Vietnam War as a Naval Flight Officer, and later in the Naval Reserves at NAS Miramar with squadron VAW-88. In later years, he spent considerable time in Peru where he met his wife. He is survived by his wife Judith Contreas and will be sorely missed by his friends.
