John D. Davis

John D. Davis, 76, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017. He was born April 8, 1941 in Miami, FL to William and Blanche Davis. John was a Deputy in Detroit, MI and a Detective for the Charlotte County Sheriff's Dept. He was a member of the FOP and past president of National Fraternity Order of Police. John continued to protect and serve even after his retirement. He was loved, respected and inspired loyalty in everyone who met him. John will be greatly missed by his loving daughters, AnnMarie, Kim and Kathy; son, Scott; grandchildren, Elise, Eliora, Joy, Neale, Neale, Gabriel, Shelby, Rhett, Katie, Jordan, Jacob, Jason, Preston and Steven; and great-grandchildren, Levi and Laken.
