Joann Lasota

JoAnn LaSota, 75, of Punta Gorda passed away December 13, 2010. She was born October 6, 1935 in Minneapolis, MN to Floyd and Mary (Kessler) Vernon. JoAnn was a secretary for Transamerica and retired in 1990. She was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church. JoAnn enjoyed playing slots and skip-bo with her life long friend, Marge. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 55 years, Edward; daughters, Linda Thunstrom and Diana LaSota; brothers, Theodore (Nancy) Vernon and Richard (Audrey) Vernon, grandchildren, Andrew and Amber; brother in law, David (Patricia) LaSota and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. A service in celebration of JoAnn's life will at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
