It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jennifer Ann Burrows, affectionately known as Jenny, who left us far too soon on September 11, 2026, at the age of 34. Born on August 16, 1992, in Port Charlotte, Florida, Jenny spent her early years in the warm embrace of Punta Gorda, where she attended Charlotte High School and later created cherished memories in Hammond, Illinois, before returning to her roots in 2022.
Jenny was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. With a radiant smile that could brighten the cloudiest of days, she first graced the aisles of Publix Super Markets as a front service associate in 2011, where she spread joy and kindness to customers and colleagues alike. Her warmth left a lasting impression, continuing to be remembered fondly by those who met her along her journey.
Having a passion for caregiving, Jenny made a significant impact at Activage Adult Day Club in Port Charlotte, where she not only provided love and care but also formed lifelong friendships, earning the hearts of both her coworkers and the community. Even today, her gentle spirit is still remembered by dementia patients who fondly ask about "that beautiful daughter of yours."
Most recently, Jenny had been sharing her infectious positivity and kindness as a front desk clerk at a bustling medical office, where her friendly demeanor continued to create connections and brighten the lives of everyone who walked through the doors.
Jenny was a devoted daughter to William and Deborah Burrows; cherished sister to Timothy (Sandy), Stacie (Benoit) Blanchet, and Alyson (Nicolas) Morse; and aunt to her cherished niece, Amelia. She also leaves behind a large extended family, aunt Tamara Huskey and uncle Kevin Lasher, aunt Debra and uncle Mike Quinn, aunt Antoinetta and uncle James Briggs, and uncles Scott Burrows and Carl Fitzwater; cousins Stephanie Huskey, Brad Noe, Alaina Noe, Kyle Huskey, Terrance Quinn, Jason Quinn, DJ (David Jeremy) and Jobeth Huskey, and their children Caroline, Carson, and Bowan; great-aunt Wanda (Alex) Nemeth and great-uncle Robert (Bob) Burrows; and her devoted boyfriend, Charlie Cujas, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Jenny was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lloyal and Eleanor Burrows, grandmother Donna Fitzwater, grandfather Donald Briggs, her step-grandfather Fred Harris, uncle Mike Quinn, and cousin Michael Quinn.
Jenny's life was a testament to love. She had a tender heart for animals, often rescuing them and surrounding herself with a tight-knit circle of friends. Her main goal in life was to spread love wherever she could, and she did just that.
In honor of Jenny's lifelong commitment to compassion and kindness, the family requests that any donations be made to the Animal Welfare League of Port Charlotte, a cause close to her heart.
A celebration of Jenny’s life will be announced at a future date.
As we reminisce and celebrate the beautiful spirit of Jenny, let us share our love for her and carry her warm smile within us, keeping her memory alive in our hearts. She will be missed deeply but cherished forever.
