Janet M. Saville

Janet Marie Saville, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 79. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Janet lived a life full of love, devotion to her family, and quiet strength.

She earned her master's degree from Montclair State University and taught chemistry, Biology, Earth Science and Algebra at DePaul High School. She dedicated much of her life to raising her family in West Milford, New Jersey. Janet was a woman of intellect and compassion, whose warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Saville Jr.; her son, Robert Saville and his wife Nadine; her son-in-law, Jeff Taylor; and her treasured grandchildren, Riley Cole and Shyia Raine Taylor. Janet was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Kimberly.

Later in life, Janet and her husband of nearly 60 years, Joseph J. Saville Jr., moved permanently to Punta Gorda, Florida, where they enjoyed the sunshine, the sea, and happy years together.

Janet enjoyed the travel, sailing and skiing and had a special passion for reading. She found peace and joy in life's simple pleasures and created a loving home filled with laughter, learning, and care.

Janet will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the legacy of strength and kindness she leaves behind.
