Howard R. Zillmer

Howard Zillmer, 86, of Port Charlotte passed away November 7, 2008. He was born January 3, 1922 in Pewaukee, Wisconsin to Harry and Clara (Schnieder) Zillmer. Howard served in the US Army during WWII in Europe. He was a retired Electrical Contractor and moved from Waukesha, WI to Port Charlotte in 1984. Howard was a former member of Isles Yacht Club and a member of the Elks Club. He was a member of First United Methodist of Punta Gorda and was an avid boater and fishermen. Howard will be greatly missed by his wife of 48 years, Inez; daughter, Alice (Norman) Schultz of Waukesha, WI; step-daughters, Judy (Erwin) Bertram and Janet (Charles) Betker both of Waukesha, WI; son, Charles of Pewaukee, WI; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
