Gloria D. Anderson

Gloria Jean Anderson, 69, of Punta Gorda passed away August 12, 2018. She was born July 31, 1949 in Moultrie, GA, but moved to Florida at just 5 days old. She was a longtime resident of Nokomis, but spent her later years in Punta Gorda and had a deep love for the outdoors. Gloria also had a great love for dogs and horses, often spending hours outside enjoying their presence. Gloria will be greatly missed by her husband, Greg Anderson; sons, Jestin Carter of Venice, FL and Johnny Carter of Arcadia, FL; grandchildren, Joseph & Cecillia Carter, Kayla Carter, Nicole Carter, Richard Jimerson and Shalana Jimerson; and two great-granddaughters, Zara Elaina Carter and Ahri Elise Carter. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Indian Springs Cemetery.
