Francis L. Gardiner

Francis L. Gardiner, 81, Port Charlotte passed away December 17, 2010. He was born August 20, 1929 in Providence, RI to George and Elsie (Barber) Gardiner. Francis was a retired truck driver and moved to this area from Wyoming, RI in 2005. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Francis will be greatly missed by his wife of 45 years, Margaret; daughters, Tracy Gardiner of Port Charlotte, Marcia Zgleszewski of Chester, PA and Sheryl DiFormato of Wyoming, RI; sons, Kenny Gardiner of North Port, Chuck Gardiner of San Antonio, FL, Stephen Gardiner of Beverly Hills, FL, Ernie Gardiner of Narragansett, RI and Artie Gardiner of Hampton, VA; brothers, George Gardiner of South Kingstown, RI and Bob Gardiner of W. Warwick, RI; sisters, Ethel Mowry of North Kingston, Alice Gardiner of Providence, RI, Dot Sixma of Winchester, VA and Thelma Kookas of Narragansett, RI; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
