Erika Diesener

Erika Diesener, 76, of Punta Gorda passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 after her six years battle with cancer. She was born March 17, 1935 in Berlin, Germany to Eberhard and Luise (Schleef) Schreiber. Erika worked for Continental Tires in New York City as an international tire shipping clerk. She enjoyed many outdoor activities with her husband including skiing, traveling in a camping all over the world and sailing all over New Jersey along with their English Springer Spaniel, Rex. Erika will be remembered for her positive outlook on life and being a beautiful and loving wife. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 49 years, Gerhard.
