Edith L. Masterson

Edith L. Masterson, 93, of North Port, FL passed away January 8, 2006. She was born June 13, 1912 in Bridge Port, CT to the late Stanley and Edith (Grant) Smith. Edith moved to North Port in 1997 from Miramar, FL and she was a member of South Biscayne Baptist Church of North Port. She will be greatly missed by her nieces Barbara (Lewis) Masterson of Somerset, KY and Richalene Tierney of Eaton Rapids, MI; step-daughter Norma (Richard) Fenty of Staten Island, FL; granddaughters Cherie Whittaker of Penbroke Pines, FL and Karen VanGosen of PA; many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and great grandchildren. Inurnment will be at the Smith Family plot in Milford, CT. Memorial donations maybe made to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
