Donald W. Lester

Donald W. Lester, 89, of Port Charlotte passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Douglas T. Jacobson Veteran's Home. He was born May 13, 1921 and a native of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Donald was a WWII Veteran. He spent 29 of his golden years in San Antonio, TX and moved 2 years ago to Port Charlotte to be near his daughter. Donald will be greatly missed by his beloved daughter, Julie (Robert) Mudge of Port Charlotte; son, Donald Jr., of Atlanta, GA and caring step-sister, Delores Hochsprung of Moundsview, MN. A memorial service and burial will be held late spring in Minnesota. Memorial donations may be made to Douglas T. Jacobson State Veterans Home, 21281 Grayton Terrace, Port Charlotte, FL 33954.
