Obituary

Donald Roger Beezley, 71, of Stevensville, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Don will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Don had a deep love for the outdoors and the simple joys of life. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and woodworking-hobbies that reflected his skill and appreciation for time well spent. He especially cherished his years working at Harbor Shores Golf Course in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and at Live Oak Resort Golf Course in Arcadia, Florida, where he happily spent his winters.

For many years, Don worked as a Maintenance Mechanic at Cook Nuclear Plant in Bridgman, Michigan.

Don also treasured time spent in Northern Michigan deer hunting with his dad and brothers, Bob and Roger, as well as Scott and Seth Dine and many other friends. Those trips created memories and traditions that he held close to his heart.

A proud member of Masonic Lodge #437, Don served as a Past Master, demonstrating his commitment to fellowship, leadership, and service to others. Don was also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Brenda Beezley; his son, Andy Jackson (Keri); and his three cherished grandchildren, Grace, Brady, and Drew. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob and Roger, and his sister, Suzanne Marshall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren (Bud) Beezley and Carolyn Wright.

A celebration of life will be held in Michigan at a later date.

Don's legacy lives on in the love of his family, the friendships he nurtured, and the many lives he touched through his kindness, humor, and steady presence.
