Delores M. Hoff

Delores M. Hoff, 88, of Punta Gorda passed away May 21, 2012. She was the daughter of Clouyde and Elizabeth P. (Webb) Hawkins, born August 16, 1923 in St. Louis, MO. As a young woman, she was a professional dancer. Delores came to this area from Miami in 1979; she and her husband owned Hoff's Crane Service. She enjoyed handwork, cooking, and spending time with her family. Delores will be remembered as a mother who showed unconditional love to her family. Delores will be greatly missed by her daughters, Joan Hering of Ft. Lauderdale, Judy Lyons Oderkirk of Ferndale, WA, Lutea Wright and Peggy Burns, both of Inverness, FL; sons, Patrick Lyons of Gulfbreeze, FL, Albert Hoff, Jr. of Punta Gorda, and Charles Albert Hoff of Ocala; 30 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and close friend, Sharon Hueston and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; daughter, Peggy Lyons Tucker; parents, and brother, Clouyde Hawkins. No services are planned.
