Cherry M. Mclean

Cherry Maxine McLean, 72, of Punta Gorda passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012. She was the daughter of Whit and Alberta (Curry) Jones, born and raised in Punta Gorda, FL on February 26, 1940. She attended Souls Harbor Church of God and loved to do gardening, cooking, canning, quilt making and crocheting. Cherry will be greatly missed by daughter, Deborah (Robert) Brandal of Port Charlotte; sons, Larry "Mac" McLean of Punta Gorda and Rodney (Ruby) McLean of Port Charlotte; sisters, Aratha (Raymond) Jones and Shirley (Charles) Sauerbrey both of Punta Gorda; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul. No service is planned at this time. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc.
