Obituary

With heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of Chad Robert Krause, who left us too soon on May 9, 2026. Born on June 6, 1986, in Fort Pierce, Florida, Chad lived a life that was as vibrant as his spirit. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Chad was full of energy and enthusiasm from a young age, relishing every moment spent outdoors on his bike or skateboard. His adventurous nature led him to enjoy remote control cars, paintball, and cherished time spent with his brother, where they bonded over pool games and comic book collections. Chad's infectious smile could light up any room, and he had a unique ability to connect with others—often walking away from conversations with new friends.

As a passionate handyman, Chad found fulfillment in home repairs and remodeling, dedicating his skills to serve his community. His work extended beyond construction; he also briefly ventured into long-haul trucking and shared his knowledge as a swim instructor. Chad's love for fishing was unparalleled, and he took great pride in sharing his fishing techniques and experiences through numerous TikTok videos. Whether it was surfing, woodworking, disc golf, or diving, he was always happiest near the water, especially during fishing excursions alongside his loyal dog, Choco.

Chad is survived by his devoted father, Robert Krause Jr. and stepmother Juana; his loving mother, Tammy Carver and stepfather John; son, Keegan Robert Krause; and cherished siblings Mark Carver and Isabella Krause. He was also a beloved grandson to James and Sandra Murphy. Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert Krause Sr. and Margarita Krause, as well as his aunt Rosa Krause.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chad’s honor to Captain's for Clean Water, www.captainsforcleanwater.org, an organization that embodies his love for nature and fishing.

The family’s wishes for privacy during this time of grief.

Chad, you will be deeply missed, but we find comfort in knowing that your spirit will continue to inspire and bring joy to others. You will forever remain in our hearts. We love you.
