January 31, 2007 — May 19, 2025

Port Charlotte

If you knew Andrew, you know how big he loved, how fiercely he embraced life, and how bright his light shone. He was such a presence and lived so fully.

Andrew was born on January 31st, 2007, at 6:07 p.m. He entered this world with his hand up to his face, ready to take on living. Throughout his infancy, toddler, preteen, and teenage years, he embraced life with such enthusiasm. His big heart was always his first step forward. Andrew loved being outside, doing projects, tinkering, riding anything he could, and being around people. He never met a stranger and would talk to anyone and everyone. Ever since he was two years old, he didn’t care if you were Donald Trump in the White House or homeless on the street; he treated everyone as equals. You had his respect and kindness, regardless of age or demographic. He truly lived what Jesus wanted: love and acceptance.

Andrew had a knack for getting whatever he wanted. He would turn on his charm, and if that didn’t work, he would wear you down. School wasn’t his favorite place to be when there was schoolwork, but he loved the socialization or even just hanging in his truck on school grounds.

Andrew was a hard worker and proud to make his own money. He loved buying new things he “had to have” for his truck. His Second Gen was his favorite possession. His truck was his baby. He didn’t always treat it so nicely by testing the suspension to the max, but he washed it more times than we can count.

Andrew loved camping, four wheelers, dirt bikes, motorcycles, side by sides, mudding in his truck, driving all over town, hanging out with friends, his girlfriend Bree, and his family. He loved showing up anywhere and everywhere.

Andrew is survived by his father, Walter; mother, Andréa; sister, Addison; stepmother, Chrissy; stepfather, Robby; halfbrothers, Jeffrey and Matthew; halfsister, Emméline; and stepbrother, Brady. Andrew is also survived by his loving grandparents, Marge, Lynn and Jim, Ray and Jean, great-grandmother, Gma, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew.

Losing Andrew will be the hardest thing in our lives. He was so much to so many. Andrew’s passing will never be easy. There will always be a huge piece of our hearts missing.

There is nothing that can make his death easier. We are working with law enforcement and local representatives to achieve meaningfulness. We are also encouraging the community to donate blood in his name. He used so much, and until we lived in that world, we didn’t realize the importance of donation. The donations helped Andrew fight for his life, and we can honor him by donating to OneBlood in his name.

If you are attending the gathering, Andrew's family requests you wear light and bright colors (PURPLE, RED & CAMMO), please, no black.  Thank you for your support.
