Wayne R. Feldhouse, 64, of Port Charlotte, FL was received into the arms of the Lord, October 8, 2012. Wayne was born September 22, 1948 in Wellesley, Massachusetts and was of the Lutheran faith. He was a tremendously talented musician who could make the blues creep into your soul, or make your body move to the rhythm of rock & roll every time he picked up his guitar. He loved all kinds of music and was a huge fan of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Joe Satriani. He will now get to play along with them like he always dreamed of. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Wayne" by those closest to him for the past 20 plus years. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for just about anybody who needed it, especially his "family". He was a 100% disabled Vietnam Era Veteran, who battled against Crohns Disease for most of his adult life, and was an inspiration by his perseverance of never giving up the fight till the very end. He was a graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology with a "Bachelor of Technology" degree, a member of the Wentworth Institute "Black & Gold Society" and a member of the "Order of the DeMolay" Wayne is survived by his mother, Ruth Hindes; son, David Feldhouse; daughters, Kelly Feldhouse and Tracy Baxter; brothers, Walter Feldhouse and Robert Feldhouse; sisters, Cheryl Tonero, Deborah Brauddus and Doree Justiss; step-mother, Doreen Feldhouse; grandchildren, Cory and Alexus as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins;and by his "Best Friend" and "Angel" Cherie Loomis, her children, Robert (Jennifer) Loomis, Carrie (Kenneth) Garret, Christopher Andrew Garrett. As well as his "Extended" family, Annette Hilligas, Forest E. Burke, Kaitlyn Burke and Forest P. Burke. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Feldhouse. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 2:00pm on Saturday, October 27, 2012 with service to celebrate Wayne's life to follow at 2:00 pm at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. Inurnment will be at a later date at Sarasota National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
