Salvatore C. Romeo

Salvatore "Sam" C. Romeo, Sr., 88, of Punta Gorda formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009. He was the son of Domenico and Grazia (Misuraca) Romeo, born December 14, 1921 in Springfield, MA. Sam was a long time employee of Buxton Leather Goods, and later of Donora Construction, Pittsburgh. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda. Sam will be greatly missed by his children, Florence (John) Stoneberg, Mark (Judee) and Salvatore C., Jr; Grandfather of J. Christopher and Jeffrey Stoneberg, Thomas (Christine), Kimberly (Gary Meinen) and Salvatore A. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia M. Slick Romeo.
